Autumn members night at the Observatory
What could be better than an evening of stargazing with hot soup, bread rolls, amazing telescopes and great company? Well, we’re planning just that with an observing session for all BAS members at our Failand Observatory on the first clear night of Tue 29, Wed 30 October, or Tue 5, Wed 6 November starting at 7.30 pm.
If you’ve not yet seen our new Star-Chair 3000 binocular observing chair, or the Meade LX600 SCT or SeeStar S50 electronic telescope, then please come along.
Don’t forget to bring with you a mug for the hot soup and tea or coffee.
If you’d like to attend then please RSVP to the BAS Secretary (secretary@bristolastrosoc.org.uk) by Friday 25th October at the latest. To help us improve our communications, could you also book a ticket for the event below. We’re asking for a small donation of £1 on the night to cover the expenses of running the observatory.
