Observatory Working Party – NGT Shed

I am looking for a few volunteers to help restore the NGT 18″ telescope at our observatory.
The first task is repair the shed roof and walls. If you can spare a few hours then I would be very pleased to see you.

Will be handy if you can bring some general tools like screwdrivers, drills, hammers, large paint brushes and some miscellaneous screws and nails. Wear suitable protective clothing and don’t forget a mask.
Work is outside in some lovely country air.

Hello,
I am interested in helping to restore the NGT 18.
I’m afraid that I cannot make the 9-10 October but will be happy to help with tasks on or after 16th October.
When the scope is up and running again I would be interested in operating it at star parties / observing sessions etc.

Weather is looking dry for this weekend so will pleased to see you at Failand anytime from 10.00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Tea and Coffee provided.
