THE BRISTOL ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY

Exploring the splendours of the night sky with our members and the public.
Discovering the latest scientific findings with visiting Experts.

The Bristol Astronomical Society (BAS)

Based in the South West of the UK, BAS is run by amateur astronomers as a non-profit making educational charity.

BAS is one of the most active Astronomical Societies in the UK.

We are please to announce that from 18th March main meetings with an invited speaker will return to meeting at the BPS. These will be a hybrid format, so those unable to attend will still be able to watch the meeting over Zoom. Our members nights will continue over Zoom.

BAS Members registered on our mailing list will receive a meeting invite a day, or two, before the meeting. This will contain full details on how to attend by Zoom.

More information can be found on our  Facebook page
