Formal talk with Abby Moule AKA ‘Astro Abby’: ‘Astro Adventures’

Astro Adventures offers an inspiring introduction to the world of landscape astrophotography, exploring how we can chase the stars, capture light and reveal the hidden beauty of the night. Through a series of narrative-led, mesmerising images, we’ll look at how celestial motion, atmosphere and landscape come together to create stories written in starlight. We’ll touch on the essentials of planning — from timing and location to understanding celestial movement – and give a brief glimpse into the processing steps that uncover depth and detail. Designed to ignite curiosity, this session invites you to pause, look up and reconnect with the wonder of our universe.

This will be a hybrid meeting via Zoom and at the BPS. The Zoom link will be emailed to members or by request from the BAS Secretary.

Abby’s talk is slightly longer than our normal format, comprising 2 sessions of 40 mins each, with a short break between the sessions, and followed by Q&A.  So the plan is to start the talk at 7 pm.
