Wales & West Spacefest 2026 to be held at Aerospace Bristol on Saturday 7th March!

This event is being organised jointly by Bristol Astronomical Society, Bath Astronomers, Cardiff Astronomers and Aerospace Bristol. It will be held at Aerospace Bristol (Concorde Museum) on Saturday 7th March. The museum will be open to the public from 9:30 am and 5:00 pm for a series of talks in the morning about the space activities in the West Country and Wales. In the afternoon there will be a symposium on Exoplanets.

In addition to these talks, there will be various “happenings” for the family including planetarium shows and 3-D virtual reality “tours in space”. There will be interactive activities for children. In addition, there will be stands under and around Concorde these include telescopes and a replica of the Beagle 2 Martian lander.

The cost of entry to the event and the talks is the entry fee for the museum of £20 in advance. Please confirm the date as 7th March 2026. The planetarium and the 3D virtual reality experience are extra. More information is shown on the attached flyers.
