The front cover of BASIL shows excerpts from the BBC Four 'Star Men' documentary, first screened in 2007. A number of BAS members were interviewed during the filming and we will show the full video at the Members' Talk Night on 25th June.

There is a partial solar eclipse on 10th June and observing details are given. BAS Observatory Director David Bennett is planning to livestream the solar eclipse for members from the Failand Observatory.
Featured observing targets for the month are M5, M10, M12, M13, M92 and the variable double star Rasalgethi.
There are two asteroid occultations during the month and information has been provided by BAS member Nigel Wakefield.
