Come Stargazing (GOING AHEAD)
Attendees will be able to look through a number of telescopes operated by members of the Bristol Astronomical Society. Each telescope will be aimed at a different object and the telescope operators will explain what is being viewed and will try to answer questions.
The event is not suitable for children less than 8 years old. There is limited public transport running to Failand so you will need to have your own means of transport. You may bring a pair of binoculars, but NOT a telescope . Admission is by ticket only, so please make sure that you have your ticket with you.
Warm clothing is essential, especially for children. Access to the Observatory is via an unlit track which may be muddy, so a torch and sensible shoes are recommended. We regret that the event is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. There is no parking at the Observatory; please park in Hill Drive.
