Young Persons Astronomy Course: Week 4

Week 4 – Astrophotography – mobile phones to telescopes

We are running our popular 4-week astronomy course for young persons aged 9 – 11 commencing Friday 12th September. The start time is 5.15p.m. and each session will last for one hour. The course is intended to cover topics not normally dealt with in school e.g. how to view the sky, the solar system, deep space and astrophotography. It also includes a free visit the BAS observatory to look at the sky through some large telescopes.

Note: all participants must be accompanied by a parent/adult.
The course fee covers both adult and child.
